Fake it 'til you make it!
Have you seen the Maya road Kraft doilies? They are so yummy! They are also sold out, at least at 2peas anyway. Instead of having a little pity party I thought I would just make my own. I used my Studio Calico doilie stamps you can get here or here and the little brown bag my Studio Calico kit came in.
I used american crafts pigment ink. I had never used this ink before and it gave a wonderful image, but took a little time to dry. I made a few from the bag and a few from some cardstock leftovers and the bag ones were my fave! The ink bled just a little bit on the bags and I just really loved the look.
The bag doilies are on top and the cardstock are on the bottom. The cardstock were alot easier to cut out though. I cant wait to use these!

Sunday Sketch
Sunday Sketch at studio calico made me think card once again this week. I think it was the little conversation bubbles that were particularly inspiring. Anywho I love this card, I got that bird stamp from another awesome SC girl CCCjenn , she just gave it to me shes cool like that! I just drew the cat and cut it out and the bubble is a we r memory keepers stamp. I love it, its probably my favorite card I ever made even though its very simple. If you have done the sunday sketch link me up.

I zing therefore I am
Ok maybe that is just a tad of hyperbole, but I really do love zing especially the white. So one day I was like I wanna zing something weird just to see if it would work, and it did! I had this clear bobunny button and I soaked in embossing ink and dusted with zing and then put it in a small bowl and applied heat. I couldnt believe it worked without melting the button. So what is the weirdest thing you've ever zinged?
p.s. now I so want a zinger.
