Im torn
Hi! Today I have my card I made for Twisted Sketches #72, and the twist for this card was torn. I am not a paper tearer. I think it looks great when other people do it, but it just feels wrong when I have at least 3 pairs of perfectly good scissors ;). If you look at my gallery you will not find a single scrap of torn paper so this twist definitely took me out of my comfort zone.
I hope my paper tearing skills are at least not painfull to look at, and I actually really like this card. I think the torn paper goes well with the vintage feel of the 5 and dime paper and doilies. Are you born a paper tearer or can it be an acquired taste? Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Also a little uncertain about paper tearing, but it does look great here with the vintage look :)

ReplyDeleteIt looks great Jamie, but I feel ya, I'm no good at tearing either always ends up way more jaggedy than I want it to.
ReplyDeletecute card jamie! (tearing is always tough for me too...i think i want to control it more when i should probably just let loose.)
