Out of the Loop

So my husband has had 3 weeks off from school and clinicals, the weather has been amazing, my oldest read his first book, and Ive been working on assignments that I can't share (yet).  All this = Jamie not blogging or reading blogs :(.  I am back today to share a card I made for Paige's Cards challenge on the Northridge Media blog.  I love Paige's Cards challenges because they give just enough that you're not starting from scratch, but you still have plenty of room to do what you want. Here is my card for the Father's Day challenge.

I can hardly make a male related card that does not include a moustache.  Other than the Bazzill cardstock this is made from Echo Park's "Little Boy" line. I don't think it needs much explanation, but if you want to cut a perfect moustache just use a bracket shape.  I made this with my Dad in mind, I thought maybe I could make one for my husband that said no.2 Dad ;), and maybe on the inside it could say "if the no.1 Dad is unable to fulfill duties then the no.2 Dad will take over" lol.  So I have noticed with the pretty weather I spend much less time sitting down and crafting, so my question is do you craft more or less during the spring and summer?

  2. Very cute ideas for the cards :)

I think I scrap about as much. I seem to scrap in cycles. I might do a lot and then take a short break. But then I will do a whole bunch in a row again :)

  4. Very creative idea with the mustache! I think I will be scrapping less in the summer - like today, all evening we worked out in the yard - no scrap time at all today.
